The Granite State Organizing Project (GSOP) is a nonprofit dedicated to advancing racial and economic justice in New Hampshire. Founded in 2002, GSOP unites faith communities, tenant associations, labor unions, and individuals to build collective power and address inequities in education, housing, immigration, and healthcare. As a multiracial, multifaith, and nonpartisan organization, GSOP strengthens civic engagement and leadership to ensure human dignity is at the center of public life.
The Executive Director will serve as the chief executive, responsible for strategy, fundraising, staff leadership, and community engagement. Working with the Board of Directors, the ED will oversee programs, finances, development, and organizing efforts, while fostering grassroots power to create lasting change across New Hampshire.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree (required) and at least 5 years of direct community organizing experience. Strong skills in fundraising, grant writing, communications, and staff supervision are essential. A deep commitment to racial and economic justice is required. Spanish language proficiency and experience working with faith communities or labor unions are preferred.
