Building Community in New Hampshire (BCNH) is a nonprofit dedicated to helping refugees and immigrants build safe, healthy, and connected lives. Founded in 2009 by refugees from Bhutan, BCNH now serves hundreds of clients from around the world through case management, education, and community support. With offices in Manchester and Nashua, BCNH has grown into a diverse, mission-driven organization rooted in lived experience.
The Executive Director will serve as the chief executive, responsible for strategy, fundraising, operations, and community partnerships. Working closely with the Board of Directors, the ED ensures BCNH’s financial resilience, program quality, and organizational growth during a time of both expansion and challenge for refugee-serving nonprofits.
The ideal candidate has leadership experience in nonprofit management, with strong skills in fundraising, finance, program oversight, and community engagement. A demonstrated ability to manage and support diverse teams is essential. A passion for advancing equity and inclusion for immigrant and refugee communities is required.
