The Fair Food Standards Council (FFSC) is a nonprofit dedicated to advancing farmworkers’ human rights, supporting sustainable agriculture, and ensuring ethical supply chains through the Fair Food Program (FFP). Reporting to the Board, the ED ensures the integrity of FFSC’s compliance monitoring, complaint resolution, and public communications, while advancing the program’s growth in the U.S. and abroad.
The ideal candidate has extensive leadership experience in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations, with proven expertise in human rights enforcement, fundraising, and organizational management. Strong skills in donor relations, program oversight, and dispute resolution are essential. A bachelor’s degree plus JD, PhD, or MBA is required. Spanish language fluency and a demonstrated commitment to human rights and low-wage workers are strongly preferred.
