Help & Hope Center (HHC) is a nonprofit providing food, clothing, financial assistance, and support services to individuals and families in Douglas and Elbert counties. Founded in 1984, HHC now serves more than 31,000 people annually through its food pantry, thrift store, financial assistance programs, and referrals. With 23 staff and 300 volunteers, HHC is a critical community resource dedicated to helping neighbors navigate financial crises with dignity and hope.
The Executive Director will serve as HHC’s chief executive, responsible for strategic leadership, fundraising, financial oversight, operations, and community partnerships. Working with the Board of Directors, the ED will guide organizational growth, expand revenue streams, and strengthen service delivery while ensuring compliance, accountability, and a strong internal culture.
The ideal candidate has proven nonprofit leadership experience, including managing staff, budgets, and facilities of similar scale. Strong fundraising skills, strategic planning expertise, and a commitment to working with volunteers are essential. Familiarity with capital campaign fundraising is preferred. A passion for serving financially at-risk populations and advancing HHC’s mission is required.
