For nearly 50 years, Legal Voice has championed gender justice so women and 2SLGBTQ+ people can live with dignity, safety, and autonomy. Formerly the Northwest Women’s Law Center, Legal Voice uses litigation, legislative advocacy, and community partnerships to advance equity, centering marginalized voices and prioritizing racial justice in its work across Washington, Idaho, and Montana.
The Executive Director will serve as the chief executive, responsible for organizational leadership, fundraising, and strategic growth. Working closely with the Board of Directors and staff, the ED will advance Legal Voice’s mission, guide its programs, and ensure financial sustainability while fostering an inclusive, equity-centered workplace.
The ideal candidate has at least 8 years of nonprofit leadership experience and holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) with active bar membership in Washington, Idaho, or Montana. Strong skills in strategic planning, fundraising, board relations, and financial oversight are required. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to racial equity and experience working with diverse communities.
