Oxbow Farm & Conservation Center is a nonprofit stewarding 240 acres of forest, farmland, and riparian habitat in the Snoqualmie Valley. Founded in 2009, Oxbow’s mission is to cultivate conservation and food security in support of a thriving, healthy Cascadia. Through education, habitat restoration, native plant cultivation, and food donation, Oxbow demonstrates the power of ecological care and community connection.
The Executive Director will serve as the chief executive, responsible for strategy, operations, fundraising, and partnerships. Working closely with the Board of Directors, the ED will oversee a $4.5M budget, manage a staff of ~35, and ensure high-quality delivery across all program areas. The ED will strengthen systems, foster an engaged workplace culture, and expand Oxbow’s reach through strong community and partner relationships.
The ideal candidate has significant leadership experience in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations, with strong skills in operations, finance, staff management, and external relations. A proven ability to lead collaborative teams, steward resources, and align programs with strategic goals is essential. A passion for conservation, food security, and community engagement is required.
