The Park Theater Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in the Glens Falls community by providing quality, affordable entertainment and educational opportunities in the performing arts. The Foundation operates a historic local theater and serves as a hub for cultural engagement and community connection.
The Executive Director will serve as the chief executive, responsible for day-to-day operations, fundraising, and community engagement. Working closely with the Board of Directors, the ED ensures smooth performances, audience satisfaction, volunteer coordination, and sustainable growth through programming and development initiatives.
The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of leadership experience in performing arts programming, 4 years of personnel management, and 2 years of grant writing. Strong skills in fundraising, event coordination, finance, and community outreach are essential. A passion for theater and community-based programming is required.
