Partners for Youth with Disabilities (PYD), founded in 1985, empowers youth ages 12–30 with physical, intellectual, mental health, sensory, and learning disabilities to reach their full potential as adults. Through award-winning mentoring programs, workforce development opportunities, youth leadership training, and inclusion expertise, PYD prepares more than 500 youth annually for success while also training thousands of educators, employers, and community leaders in inclusion best practices. With a staff of 21, an annual budget of $2.5 million, and a dedicated Board of Directors, PYD is recognized as a leader in disability inclusion and youth development.
The Executive Director serves as PYD’s chief executive, reporting to the Board of Directors and leading the organization into its 40th anniversary in 2025. The ED is responsible for fundraising, program integration, organizational management, revenue diversification, staff leadership, and external partnerships. They will advance the organization’s strategic plan, strengthen operations, expand impact, and amplify PYD’s role as a national leader in disability inclusion and youth empowerment.
