Executive Director — SECU Family House (Winston-Salem, NC)

Overview

SECU Family House is a nonprofit that provides affordable lodging and supportive services for adult patients and caregivers traveling to Winston-Salem for medical treatment. Serving hundreds of families each year, the organization offers a caring, safe environment when patients and loved ones face extended stays away from home.

The Role

The Executive Director will serve as the chief executive, responsible for financial management, operations, fundraising, and community relationships. Working closely with the Board of Directors, the ED will ensure SECU Family House continues to deliver compassionate guest services, maintain its facilities, and strengthen resources to meet growing demand.

What They’re Looking For

The ideal candidate has significant nonprofit leadership experience, with a strong track record in fundraising, financial oversight, and organizational management. A bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree/relevant experience) is required. Knowledge of the Winston-Salem/Triad community is preferred. The ED should be a servant leader, skilled communicator, and compassionate advocate for families facing medical crises.

• Salary range: $105,000–$120,000
• Reports to Board of Directors; supervises 2 senior directors and leads a staff of 15–20
