Overview

Habitat for Humanity Buffalo is a nonprofit dedicated to ensuring that everyone in the community has a safe, affordable place to call home. The organization builds and rehabilitates houses, operates ReStore retail locations, and partners with families and volunteers to expand access to affordable housing across Western New York.

The Role

The Executive Director will serve as the chief executive, responsible for strategy, fundraising, operations, and community partnerships. Working closely with the Board of Directors, the ED ensures strong program delivery, financial stewardship, and a culture of equity and inclusion.

What They’re Looking For

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of leadership experience in nonprofit, public, or mission-driven organizations. Strong skills in fundraising, finance, team management, and community engagement are essential. A bachelor’s degree is required (advanced degree preferred). A passion for affordable housing and community development is required.

Highlights
