Overview
Sprouts Chef Training empowers youth in the Bay Area and New York City who are experiencing hardship by providing culinary training, mentorship, and career placement. Since 2012, more than 180 youth have leveraged the program to overcome housing instability, pursue higher education, and launch sustainable careers. With chef mentors and community partners, Sprouts works to create a future where all young people have access to fulfilling career pathways.

The Role
The Executive Director will serve as the strategic and operational leader of Sprouts Chef Training, guiding fundraising, governance, and program execution. This is a hands-on leadership position that balances vision-setting with relationship-building and operational management. The ED will represent the organization publicly, collaborate with renowned chef partners, and cultivate key donor and sponsor relationships.

The ideal candidate is an experienced nonprofit leader with a proven track record in fundraising, donor stewardship, and board engagement. Strong organizational systems-building, budget management, and team leadership skills are essential. The role requires excellent communication abilities, emotional intelligence, and comfort representing the organization in high-visibility settings.
