The Caribbean Foundation of Boston (CFOB) is a nonprofit dedicated to helping seniors and individuals with disabilities remain in their homes with dignity and independence while creating meaningful employment and training opportunities for community members. Founded in 1973, CFOB serves Roxbury, Dorchester, and Mattapan through homemaking and personal care services, friendly visiting, and caregiver training, supporting hundreds of residents each month.
The Executive Director will serve as the chief executive, responsible for strategy and growth, fundraising and revenue diversification, and operational excellence across programs and administration. Working closely with the Board of Directors, the ED ensures high-quality services, strong community partnerships, regulatory compliance, and sustainable finances during a leadership transition.
The ideal candidate has 7+ years of senior leadership experience in health, aging services, home care, or a related human services sector. Strong skills in fundraising/business development, financial management (including contract/grant oversight), program operations, HR and team development, compliance, and community engagement are essential. A degree in management or healthcare administration (or equivalent experience) is preferred. A passion for serving diverse, immigrant, and elder communities is required.
