Overview
Willow Waterhole Greenspace Conservancy (WWGC) manages and protects the 290-acre Willow Waterhole Greenway in Southwest Houston. The Greenway reduces flood risk, restores natural habitat, and provides lakes, wetlands, prairie, and open spaces for recreation, education, and community connection.


The Role
The Executive Director will provide leadership to strengthen organizational sustainability, expand partnerships, and secure funding. This role involves guiding strategic planning, overseeing daily operations, and serving as a visible ambassador to build trust with the community, donors, and public partners.


What They’re Looking For
The ideal candidate has proven nonprofit leadership experience, strong fundraising and communications skills, and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, along with 7+ years in nonprofit or mission-driven leadership. Candidates should be mission-driven, collaborative, and comfortable managing staff, volunteers, and community programs.
