The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities is one of the largest multidisciplinary arts institutions in the United States, offering award-winning theater, concerts, visual arts, and educational programming. Established in 1976 and now operating as an independent nonprofit, the Center serves the Denver metro and Rocky Mountain region with a mission to elevate the human condition through arts and humanities.
The President & CEO serves as the chief executive, responsible for strategic vision, fundraising, organizational management, and community partnerships. Working closely with the Board of Directors, the CEO ensures financial sustainability, programmatic excellence, and inclusive engagement.
The ideal candidate has 7–10+ years of senior leadership experience in a complex arts, cultural, or nonprofit setting. Demonstrated success in fundraising, financial management, board relations, and strategic planning is essential. Strong cultural competence, proven ability to lead diverse teams, and a passion for the performing and visual arts are required.
